Castello di Miradolo is just a short distance from the Hotel. The castle is at the entrance to Val Chisone, built with a noble area and a rustic area, and dates back to the 17th and 18th century. Castello di Miradolo opens to the public for concerts, conferences, congresses and meetings, but is mainly available to the public as an exhibition area with its regular exhibitions. Its recently renovated interior and the magnificent parkland of about 6 hectares make the building suitable for wide-ranging activities, trying to respond to the area’s different cultural needs. More info on http://www.fondazionecosso.com/

Just 5 minutes from the Hotel, the historical Arma della Cavalleria museum looks at life a the famous cavalry school and the army with the evolution of uniforms, hats, medals and decorations, flags and banners. The old photographs and exhibition of carriages and armoured vehicles is especially interesting.

The Museo Didattico di Scienze Naturali is not far from Museo della Cavalleria. This Natural Science museum hosts an extraordinary collection of mushrooms, with over one thousand different species, and a total of about 3000 specimens. The museum also hosts other topics, such as mineralogy, and a collection of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds from the Pinerolo area.
